COURSE DESCRIPTION
Crummey powers are often used in irrevocable trust to allow an individual to claim a gift from a trust, making a transfer that was not eligible for the gift tax exclusion into a transfer that is eligible for the exclusion. This program will discuss drafting Crummey powers in trusts and how to provide effective Crummey notices.
